Make the journal your home screen
The journal shows the active region, stamp progress, quests, photo challenges, and other local objectives. Read it whenever the next step is unclear.

Finish nearby character requests
Quest completion is central to region progression and often introduces the location, camera tool, or character needed by another objective.

Photograph newcomers immediately
Take a confirming photo whenever a critter, requested subject, sight, or unusual detail appears. A single exploration route can advance several photo goals.

Look up as well as forward
TOEM 2 adds running, jumping, and climbing. Check rooftops, ledges, stairways, and elevated paths when a route appears to end early.

Leave global cleanup for later
There are no time limits for full completion. Finish the current region first, then return with better routes, tools, and collection context.
